The First-Year Academies will be offering different workshops over the course of the Fall semester on a variety of subjects, including these below on Multiple-Choice Test-taking Strategies, Improved Note-taking Strategies, and for those students in certain majors, Candidacy and the need for a "Plan B".

Multiple-Choice Test-taking Strategies:
Do you wish to do better on multiple-choice tests? Learn techniques for this often challenging test format that will help you maximize your performance on multiple-choice tests.

Improved Note-taking Strategies:
How can you take better-quality notes in class? Hear about techniques to be a better note-taker, because better notes mean higher grades on tests!

Candidacy and "Just in Case" Plan B:
If you wish to major in RN, LPN, Vet Tech, OTA, or PTA, you need to understand how to get into the program-and what options you have if that proves tricky for you.
